Each year BCHC Charity, the official NHS charity for Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, spends £10,000 on providing gifts, activities and entertainment for patients spending the holiday season under BCHC care.

The Charity are particularly in need of new toys that can be distributed through BCHC 's Children 's & Families services to those who may otherwise not be able to provide these for their children, helping to boost morale and spread some cheer.

If your company would like to host a toy drive, please contact Samantha Howell at Samantha.howell12@nhs.net to find out how, or alternatively you can purchase items directly from the Winter Wishlist.

Samantha Howell, Project Support Manager, said: “By hosting a toy drive for BCHC Charity, you will be helping us bring a smile to children accessing our services during the holiday season.

“Teams like our Children in Care and Paediatric Amputee services often give out these gifts to vulnerable families across the city, and the reactions are always priceless! ”

Those who are interested can also help support the Charity in spreading the sparkle across Birmingham by taking part in Winter Woollies Week.

Running from Monday 12 to Friday 16 December, BCHC Charity invite you to donate £2 to their JustGiving appeal to wear your most jolly jumpers, festive frocks, and seasonal socks.

If you share your seasonal selfies on Instagram with the hashtag #BCHCWWW22, you 'll be in with a chance to win their Happy Holidays prize pack.

Contact Samantha to find out more about festive fundraising or donating or visit their website to see how BCHC Charity are making a difference across Birmingham.
