German-British Chamber hosts Midlands Summer Reception with German Ambassador to the UK
The German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce has announced it is hosting a Midlands Summer Reception with the German Ambassador to the UK, HE Miguel Berger, on 19 September in Birmingham.
HE Miguel Berger took up his current role in May 2022 and one key focus of his work is to strengthen economic ties between the UK and Germany. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and connect, share their experiences and renew contacts while enjoying panoramic views of the Birmingham city skyline.
Dr Ulrich Hoppe (pictured), director general of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce, commented: “We are delighted to welcome HE Miguel Berger to our Midlands Summer Reception to share his views on current developments with our German-British Business Community. The reception will be a perfect opportunity to gain insight into business developments and activities in the region, to learn about opportunities and challenges in the current business environment and to further the dialogue between British and German businesses.”
Taking place at The Cube, 196 Wharfside Street, Birmingham B1 1RN, from 6pm, guests will be enjoying drinks and canapés on the beautiful Skyline Terrace, offering a spectacular experience with 360-degree panoramic scenery.
