Future Faces member shortlisted in ABCC Awards 2024

Future Faces member Kavita Mehey has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Young Achiever of the Year category of the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) Awards 2024.

Kavita (pictured), a trainee solicitor at Lawrence Kurt Solicitors, says that being shortlisted for this award is very close to her heart, as the first ever event she attended as a young professional was with the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce.

Kavita was also shortlisted in the Legal category of the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards this year.

She said: "Being shortlisted for the Outstanding Young Achiever of the Year Award by the Asian Business Chambers of Commerce is more than just recognition—it’s a reflection of growth, resilience, and the power of community. I’m truly grateful for the opportunities and support that have shaped my journey so far, and I look forward to celebrating alongside inspiring individuals who are making a difference."

The ABCC Awards 2024 will take place on Saturday, 30 November at the ICC, Birmingham. There will also be an official awards afterparty at the Malmaison.
