Future Faces member shortlisted for SLTC Awards 2025
A Future Faces member has recently been shortlisted for the Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Awards 2025, in the Young Professional of the Year category.
Manisha Chauhan is the Marketing & Communications officer at Lichfield Garrick Theatre, starting her journey with the team in February 2024.
Before this, she built her career in the fine art and music industries, working in event and artist management.
Her passion for connecting with audiences, supporting creatives, and bringing communities together has always been at the heart of what she does.
Having played the violin since the age of seven, and later picking up singing and guitar, Manisha grew up surrounded by music and creativity—a passion that’s shaped her professional journey since graduating in 2017.
She says that joining the Lichfield Garrick and transitioning into marketing was the best decision she’s ever made. It’s given her the opportunity to thrive in an environment where her creativity and neurodiversity are celebrated while making a real impact on local communities and individuals.
Speaking about being shortlisted for the SLTC Awards 2025, Manisha said: "Being shortlisted for the SLTC Young Professional of the Year Award feels completely surreal; like a pat on the back from the universe after a really tough year personally and professionally. Making the leap from the music industry to marketing was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but this recognition makes me feel like I’m finally on the right path.
“I’m so grateful to my managers and colleagues who have let me truly make this role my own, taught me so much in a short time, let me ask countless questions and encouraged me to bring every idea (no matter how outlandish) to the table.”
