International Forwarding Ltd (IFL), a leading provider of European and UK forwarding and logistics solutions, has announced the addition of another 15,000 sq ft of storage space within its growing warehouse portfolio.

This latest expansion builds on an existing 150,000 sq ft across three substantial and centrally located West Midlands warehouses.

Foreseeing the need for customers to protect their supply chain against Brexit-related issues, the company doubled its existing warehouse storage in 2019.

It then took over a third large warehouse facility in Garretts Green in 2020 to meet demand, adding another 40,000 sq ft – with space for up to 6,000 pallets.

All premises are fully alarmed with 24-7 CCTV, and provide short or long-term storage for onward distribution of goods to Europe or around the UK.

Other services include full KPI and stock management, real-time inventory visibility, and a range of third-party logistics (3PL) solutions.

The capacity boost reflects IFL’s growing commitment to providing secure, well-situated local warehousing to local businesses, importers and exporters, and other freight and logistics operators who are at capacity.

Andy Grubb, IFL sales director, said: “The extra space is much needed in order to meet the increased demand for our clients’ products. This expansion will allow us to better serve our customers and provide faster order fulfilment.

“It will also help us streamline our operations and improve efficiency, ultimately benefiting both our company and our customers.”
