Freebies for fans at Thomas Land
Staffordshire-based attraction, Drayton Manor Park, home to Europe 's only Thomas Land is celebrating the birthday of one of its much-loved characters this week, with some special treats in store for lucky Thomas fans.
To celebrate the attraction's official birthday, the park will be hosting a 'random acts of kindness ' campaign on 13 May, with a host of Thomas & Friends themed goodies up for grabs for lucky guests.
The little blue engine is the star of the family-favourite theme park 's very own Thomas Land, and has been a key draw for families since 2008.
As well as the random acts campaign, the park 's much-loved Adult and Toddler ticket is also returning for 2021 so guests can celebrate with Thomas for just £25.
The pass enables an adult with a toddler aged four or under to visit the park during weekdays of Staffordshire school term to enjoy everything the park has to offer at a discounted rate. There are huge savings to be made when booking in advance, with adult tickets usually costing £39.50 and toddler tickets costing £9.50 when booked on the day.
William Bryan, managing director at Drayton Manor Park, said: “Thomas has been a star attraction at Drayton Manor Park for many years, so we 're thrilled to be celebrating his birthday with our guests this week.
“With the return of our popular Adult and Toddler ticket it 's the perfect opportunity for a cost-effective mid-week visit with the little ones, with quieter ride queues and the added possibility of getting hold of some exciting Thomas & Friends goodies!
“We look forward to welcoming Thomas fans, young and old to join in with the celebrations. ”
Drayton Manor Park reopened its 100 rides and attractions, including popular family favourites rides such as Bounty Pirate Ship, Accelerator and the ultimate water ride - Stormforce 10, which has just had a facelift for the new season.
Families can also visit a variety of endangered animals at Drayton Manor Park 's conservation Zoo, home to over 500 animals of all shapes and sizes from around the world, including spider monkeys, meerkats and red pandas.
