Former Chamber CEO links up with leading hospitality firm

Former Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce chief executive Paul Faulkner has joined Gala Events - one of the UK's leading corporate hospitality businesses - as an ambassador.

Paul, the co-founder of business consultancy Element45, joins as Gala Events sets its sights on expanding its range of events and hospitality.

The Birmingham-based business leader has worked across a range of sectors including banking, recruitment, football and charity.

He was chief executive at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest football clubs, before leading the GBCC.

Paul also held a senior role with the Richardson family business and was interim CEO of the Kids' Village charity.

In 2024, Paul co-established Element45, a business advisory that specialises in leadership, strategy and performance.
