Financial planning firm named among UK 's best

Colmore Partners has been celebrated as one of the best 100 firms in the UK 's professional financial planning community.

The Birmingham-based independent financial planning firm has been named in the annual Citywire New Model Adviser Top 100 financial planning firms for the first time.

Entrants to the Top 100 are awarded points on criteria approved by AKG, an independent provider of assessment, ratings, information and market assistance to the financial services industry. It looks for firms that deliver excellent advice, support their clients and the wider community, and take good care of their staff.

Richard Meek (pictured), managing director of Colmore Partners, said that the firm was especially proud of the achievement, coming less than two years since it was launched.

He commented: “It is a huge honour to be named in Citywire 's Top 100 firms. We took part in a substantial submission process which included an audit of our business processes, covering everything from the way we train and develop our people to how rigorous our research procedures are.
