Family festive treats on way to the Hub

Two great family favourites The Snowman and The Nutcracker are being reinvented for a special Christmas treat – through story-telling, dance and music.

Ballet Dancer Elize Layton, narrator Sophie Price and award-winning string quintet Toscana Strings are bringing their talents to the two spectaculars, featuring mesmerising music, enchanting dance and audience participation.

The performances at the Hub at Lichfield will see The Snowman come to life with a sequence of dance moves during the famed ‘Walking in the Air’. Meanwhile, traditional Christmas story. The Nutcracker is packed full of magic and sparkle with an opportunity for audience participation in the performance.

The Hub creative director, Anthony Evans said: "We’re looking forward to welcoming our younger audiences to this magical Christmas treat from Toscana Strings. Perfect for all the family!"

There are two performances on Sunday December 15 at 11am and 2pm with both The Snowman and The Nutcracker performed at each performance.

Tickets for the show, at £14 adult / £11 child are available online or in person at The Hub. Babes in arms (under 18 months) do not require a ticket.
