Exclusive hospitality on the menu for Lichfield Proms fans in Beacon Park
Fans of Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park can enjoy the 25th anniversary event in style this year - by taking advantage of a new premium hospitality option in the Symphony Suite.
Proms, which is taking place on Saturday September 7, is one of the most popular events in the district’s calendar, drawing thousands of people for an evening of music, fireworks and picnics in the twilight.
A council spokesman said: “It is a free event for everyone but some people take advantage of the prime seating option which has always been very popular. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Lichfield Proms there's now a third option to treat yourself to the ultimate experience in our Symphony Suite.
“This is an exclusive marquee where Proms-goers can enjoy the evening with family, friends or business guests and benefit from some special VIP benefits whilst watching the event unfold before your eyes surrounded by some little luxuries.”
Symphony Suite ticket holders will be treated to a range of benefits, including VIP parking, access to an exclusive champagne and premium drinks bar, prime viewing of the stage, comfortable seating inside the marquee, the option to order luxury hampers and use of exclusive luxury toilets.
Symphony Suite tickets are £70 each and with numbers limited to 150 those interested are recommended to book early to avoid disappointment.
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Leisure and Major Projects, said: “We are delighted to offer a number of different ticket options for Proms-goers this year.
“Thousands of people attend the Proms for free and share in a wonderful evening with family and friends and make themselves comfortable across the park.
“Our Prime seating, sponsored by Zest Education, offers a great position from which to view Proms and has always been very popular and sells out very quickly.
“However, we have often been asked for a luxury option for Prom-goers and so I am thrilled that we can bring the Symphony Suite to Proms in the Park 2024 to give people the choice that they want.”
