Director earns banking group promotion
NatWest has promoted Pam Sheemar as the new regional enterprise director for the Midlands and East of England.
With over 10 years of experience at NatWest Group, Pam will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with partner organisations to support start-ups, scale-up 's and high-growth businesses to enhance their growth and development.
Pam 's role also includes overseeing the delivery of the bank 's Accelerator programme in the region, which supports businesses founders to scale their businesses from NatWest hubs in Birmingham and Milton Keynes, as well as at the University of Warwick.
The move sees Pam return to the bank 's enterprise function, having been an entrepreneur development manager earlier in her career, heading up the team in NatWest 's Birmingham Entrepreneur Accelerator.
She has also held the position of local director for North and South Wales and, most recently, director of commercial banking in Stoke and Staffordshire, leading a team who portfolio managed commercial size businesses.
Pam is passionate about driving change and is the bank 's global co-chair for it 's multicultural network, which works to champion potential and enable colleagues of all cultures, ethnicities and faiths to thrive.
Outside of her role at NatWest, Pam serves as a Magistrate, as well as a founding board director for Birmingham Tech now branded as Tech West Midlands.
