Director appointed to oversee running of hospitals

BMI The Priory and Edgbaston Hospitals have appointed a new executive director, Silvie Adams, to oversee the day-to-day management of both hospitals.

With over 23 years ' experience in the private healthcare sector, both in London and in the Midlands, Ms Adams brings a wealth of expertise to the role.

Her role also entails being the registered manager for BMI The Priory and Edgbaston Hospitals.

Ms Adams (pictured) said: “I am extremely committed to provide the best care and service possible to our patients.

“I very much see success as a team effort, and each member of the hospital team is key in delivering this ”.

BMI The Priory and Edgbaston Hospitals have more than 85 years ' experience in caring for the local community and they continue to see hundreds of patients each week.

Ms Adams added: “Both hospitals have such a great reputation in Birmingham and offer more services than many other private hospitals.

“I 'm very much looking forward to my future with BMI and excited to see what the future holds. ”
