Design agency supports developer’s vision to ‘build better communities’
A Sutton Coldfield design and marketing agency has unveiled a vibrant new brand identity for Tailored Lifestyle Group – a new developer whose mission is to provide accessible and affordable homes that prioritise community and wellbeing.
The first glimpse of the new brand identity, delivered by CUDOS Creative, has been showcased with a hoarding design at Tailored Lifestyle Group’s first development in Telford.
By focusing on tailored solutions for specific resident groups who are most in need, the developer says it is seeking to challenge conventional market practices and put people at the forefront of their initiatives.
Dedicated to sustainable development, Tailored Lifestyle Group utilise brownfield and greyfield sites, ensuring responsible land sourcing and construction practices.
Based on the site of an old, listed pub, the inaugural development in Telford will comprise 11 individual units and a communal space, specifically designed for people with disabilities or neurodiverse conditions such as autism.
The managed property will give people the ability to embrace their independence in a new home with the support they need to thrive – and CUDOS Creative set out to convey this in the hoarding design around the development.
CUDOS Creative director Kate Curry, who is also vice president of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce, said: “Working with organisations unafraid to disrupt their industry is a dream for us at CUDOS, and Tailored Lifestyle are absolutely doing this.
“They wanted to give us creative freedom with the hoarding project to come up with something unexpected and powerful, and truly representative of what they were trying to achieve with the business, so we ditched all the usual CGI imagery in favour of something more emotive and relatable, to truly stand out.”
Kate said the logo brief highlighted the importance of incorporating symbology related to ‘growth,’ which influenced a design featuring a series of multicoloured ‘homes’ that collectively form a flower graphic.
For the hoarding design, CUDOS wanted to reflect the positive transformation at the new site.
The concept centres on "opening doors," depicting a sequence of brightly coloured front doors ajar.
Kieran Danby, director of Tailored Lifestyle Group, said of the brand and hoarding design: “Hearing comments like ‘fresh’, ‘just what the town needs’, and 'so different from other sites’ is exactly what we set out to achieve.
“The passing public appreciate the effort, even car drivers are sounding their horn with a thumbs up!
“The response has been incredible, and it’s a testament to the vision and creativity behind this project. This is exactly the kind of impact we want to make.
“We’re looking forward to seeing what CUDOS comes up with next!”
