Communications agency wins consumer PR brief for Pukka Herbs
Lipton Teas & Infusions have appointed international communications agency Grayling UK to lead its UK consumer PR strategy for the organic herbal tea business Pukka Herbs, following a competitive pitch process.
The work will be led by its Southern network offices across Bristol and Birmingham, with the team chosen for its extensive expertise in the consumer and FMCG sectors. Grayling’s work will encompass supporting Pukka in the execution of its press office, developing its influencer strategy, and leading its 2024 media events programme.
Kicking off the partnership, Grayling recently organised an immersive media and digital influencer event at the iconic Frameless Immersive Art Experience in London.
The event was designed to bring to life Pukka's new marketing campaign and provide guests with an experiential taste of their top-selling herbal tea products, hosted by Pukka herbalist Marion Mackonochie and Tea Sommelier Nadine El-Hage.
Founded in 2001 by ethical entrepreneur Tim Westwell and practicing herbalist Sebastian Pole, Pukka was born out of the desire to support people’s health with natural, high-quality herbs. 2024 promises to be an exciting year for the brand, with the recent addition of its newest flavour, Morning Berry, to its product portfolio.
Grayling has worked with Nestlé, Deliveroo, and The Ivy, among others, and has extensive consumer PR and influencer experience. The agency is the UK's largest PR and Public Affairs network, with expertise spanning public relations, crisis communications, government relations, digital and social strategy, and media training.
Patrick Fraser, director of the Southern Region at Grayling UK, said: “We’re excited to be working with Lipton Teas & Infusions as its Pukka Herbs consumer PR agency partner.
“With consumers increasingly turning to sustainably conscious brands, Pukka is well placed to meet this demand through its diverse offer of herbal tea blends. We look forward to establishing a successful partnership and delivering a creative PR strategy for the business.”
Laure de Chaisemartin, Pukka marketing lead UK & Ireland, said: “Grayling’s response to our brief stood out as they truly understood what Pukka all is about. Their proposal was creative and ambitious and will help us elevate the brand’s presence this year.
“We were really impressed with how Grayling organised our immersive PR event at Frameless.
“The team ensured everything was kept on time and on budget, communication with us has been fantastic, and we know we can really trust them to do a great job and ensure no details are missed.
“They really have been a pleasure to work with - and we look forward to working with them on our plans for the rest of the year."
