Future Faces have announced that United by 2022 Charity will be sponsoring the Creative Arts and Culture category of the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards 2024.

United By 2022 champions the West Midlands region, driving inclusive growth and social value by uniting local businesses with local communities.

As the official charity of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, United By 2022’s mission is to maintain the momentum of the Games across the whole of the West Midlands.

The charity’s work across volunteering, community engagement and social value aims to benefit young people, marginalised communities, the third sector and people with disabilities.

United By 2022’s vision is to make the West Midlands a centre of excellence for community engagement, social value and volunteering.

Nicola Turner (pictured), CEO of United By 2022, commented:  “This year, I’ve had the pleasure of judging, but also, through United By 2022, supporting GBYPY’s Creative Arts & Culture category. Our region is home to world-class arts and culture organisations and we probably don't celebrate this loudly enough. If the young professionals we saw in this category are a glimpse of our future, then I'm confident we are in great hands."
