Clear film offers protection against bacteria and viruses

A clear, self-adhesive film designed to protect surfaces against bacteria and viruses is now on offer to businesses via sign manufacturer, Hardy Signs.

The Burton-based firm has teamed up with TouchShield, manufacturers of the product, to offer full installation of the film to businesses.

Hardy Signs, resellers of TouchShield, has said that its in-house graphics team can offer custom-branded options of the film and supply bespoke roll and sheet sizes as required.

The anti-microbial film can be applied to any smooth surface. Hardy Signs say that the film is ideal for retail counters, touchscreens, desks, doors, tables and bars.

The film itself is 'self-cleaning' and has been marked as a quality product by achieving an ISO standard certification.
