Classic comedy kicks off new year at Lichfield venue

Lichfield venue The Hub at St Mary’s is set for a roaring start to 2025 – with a production of classic comedy Three Men in a Boat.

Giles Shenton Productions are bringing the show to Lichfield on Thursday 23 January (7.30pm).

Join Jerome K Jerome as he recounts the hilarious story of his boating holiday along the magnificent River Thames with his two companions and Montmorency the dog.

Giles Shenton expertly takes the helm and pilots the audience through the tale of men behaving badly while messing about in boats.

The Hub creative director Anthony Evans said: “Jerome K. Jerome’s 1889 comic masterpiece has been adapted countless times for stage, screen and radio and has proved timeless.

“This production is the perfect antidote to a cold, gloomy January!”
