Cinderella-inspired ballet workshops at Resorts World this Easter

Resorts World and the Birmingham Royal Ballet have joined forces to stage a series of workshops – in which budding dancers can enjoy fun and creative sessions inspired by Cinderella.

Taking place on Wednesday 23 April, the workshops are for young people aged four to 11.

The workshops, inspired by Sir David Bintley’s highly acclaimed Cinderella, will take place in the Atrium of Resorts World during the day and each workshop will be aimed at specific age groups.

Each session will give participants an insight into the story, music and dance steps of the world-renowned ballet, which has long been a staple in the repertoire of BRB.

No previous dance experience is necessary.

Workshops for four to seven years olds will take place at 10am to 10.30am and 2pm to 2.30pm.

Eight to 11-year-olds can take part from 11am to 11.45am, 12.30am to 1.15pm and 2.45pm to 3.30pm.

Parents are asked to accompany their children to the sessions.

The cost for each session is £5 and participants will receive a £5 Resorts World gift card in return.
