McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands switched on their Christmas lights last week with captivating performances from the award-winning Staffordshire Show Choir.

This family-friendly evening features the light switch-on by Santa himself, and guests were treated to free samples from select eateries, while enjoying delightful surprises as part of the centre’s random acts of kindness.

Santa’s Grotto will return on Friday, 22 November, and will run until Christmas Eve, offering guests a chance to share wish lists and explore Santa’s workshop.

Each child will receive a chocolate gift, and a photo of their experience will be available to purchase.

The experience ranges from £2.50 to £5 per child, with all proceeds donated to West Midlands Designer Outlet’s local charity partnerships, Newlife and Lichfield Festival.

Families also can join Breakfast with Santa, starting Thursday, 5 December, running through to Christmas Eve.

Hosted at Meli Café from 8.30 to 9.30 am, the experience costs £5 per child, with all proceeds supporting Newlife and Lichfield Festival.

During each session, every child will receive breakfast, a drink, and a special Christmas gift from Santa himself. Santa will also sing Rudolph’s favourite festive jingles and be available for a photo opportunity.

Throughout the festive season, shoppers can explore newly opened stores including Rituals, Hobbs London, Barbour, and The North Face, while enjoying savings of up to 60 per cent on designer brands.

David Jackson, centre manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands, said: “We’re thrilled to bring the Christmas spirit to life with a range of festive activities for all our guests. From the Community Christmas Switch to Santa’s Grotto and Breakfast with Santa, it’s the perfect opportunity for families to add magic to the holiday shopping experience.”
