  • Understand the background of the election
  • Understand how to vote and where to find reliable information on the main parties
  • Develop an understanding of the UK’s political system

The free online event will take place on 1 July from 12pm-1pm.

Kuran Singh (pictured), policy advisor at the GBCC, said: "This webinar is a unique opportunity for young professionals across the region to equip themselves with the knowledge and insights necessary to make an informed decision at the polls.

“We encourage all those young professionals who are eligible to vote in the upcoming general election to register to attend this session, which will provide them with an understanding of the political landscape, ahead of the election next week.”
