A new programme has been launched by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) to help empower SMEs in the West Midlands to access a robust support package to secure new orders.

The West Midlands Supply Chain Transition Support programme supports suppliers in the West Midlands in transitioning into high-growth sectors and securing lucrative contracts.

Fully funded by the UK Government and delivered by Business Growth West Midlands and West Midlands Combined Authority, in partnership with Newable, Enterprise Nation and GBCC, this is a support programme to help empower ambitious SMEs in the West Midlands to access a robust support package to secure new orders.

Eligible businesses can receive one to one support from a supply chain specialist account manager, early market education events, and OEM/key customer site visits.

Alongside this, the programme offers free networking sessions with key buyers and workshops sharing best-practice advice and guidance on successfully winning new contracts.

The Launch event for West Midlands Supply Chain Transition Support programme will take place on Tuesday, 10 December 2024 at NatWest Accelerator, 2 Saint Philip's Place Colmore Row.
