Chamber members are being invited to take part in a golf day in aid of a Sutton Coldfield-based cancer support charity.

The Cancer Support Centre – the chosen charity of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber – is hosting a golf day on Wednesday 9 October at Walmley Golf Club, in partnership with Birmingham Bogeys Golf Society.

It will provide businesses with an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility while enjoying a round on one of Birmingham’s finest courses.

The golf day will raise funds for the charity which supports those battling cancer and their families.

The event can accommodate up to 18-teams with a rolling start between 10am and 1pm.

Participants can look forward to a breakfast roll on arrival, a round of golf, and a delicious post-game two-course lunch/dinner.

Additionally, businesses can showcase their support by sponsoring a hole, where their company branding will be prominently displayed at the tee box and in the event programme.

The charity would also welcome prize donations for the raffle and auction on the day.

The Cancer Support Centre provides vital services, including emotional support, counselling, and complementary therapies, to individuals and families affected by cancer.

To register your fourball, sponsor a hole, or donate a prize, contact fundraising manager Brian Davies at Brian.Davies@cancersupportcentre.org.

More information is also available on the Cancer Support Centre’s website.
