Celebrate VE Day 80 in style at The Manor Hotel

The Manor Hotel has announced its nostalgic event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day (VE Day).

Taking place on Thursday, 8 May 2025, between 12pm and 4pm, the Meriden-based hotel is inviting guests to step back in time with a vintage-themed afternoon tea, wartime tunes and lively entertainment.

Guests can look forward to a toe-tapping DJ soundtrack of classic hits from the Blitz era, setting the perfect historic tone. Expect plenty of flag waving and sing-alongs as the hotel marks this significant milestone.

Adding to the experience, the hotel’s sister venue, the National Motorcycle Museum, will showcase a fascinating selection of iconic 1940s motorcycles, including the 1942 125cc Royal Enfield WD/RE and the 1940 Matchless G3WO. There will also be a memorabilia stand, offering visitors the opportunity to take home a piece of history.
