Cathedral announces Christmas Tree Festival winners
The winners of a competition in which Lichfield organisations were invoted to decorate Christmas trees at Lichfield Cathedral have been announced.
Top prizes in Lichfield Catherdral’s 2024 Christmas Tree Festival went to Tippers Builders Merchants (Business), Knbitbitz (Charity) and St Michael’s CE Primary School (School).
The winning charity and school each receive a cash prize while the winning business will receive a trophy to display at their premises.
The annual Christmas Tree Festival run by The Friends of Lichfield Cathedral has become a festive tradition.
From the end of November to beginning of January, 53 real Christmas trees lined the Quire aisles and were decorated by local businesses, charities, and schools.
Visitors to the Cathedral were invited to vote for their favourite.
