Businesses urged to back police museum event
Businesses across the West Midlands are being urged to back a new West Midlands Police community initiative to be launched at the force’s Birmingham museum.
The West Midlands Police Museum and Cadet Scheme are calling on local companies to lend a hand to support vital community engagement work.
Corinne Brazier, Heritage Manager, Corporate Communications, West Midlands Police, said: “West Midlands Police Museum and Cadet Scheme are looking for local businesses to support them in delivering vital community engagement work.
“Could your company support a cadet unit with the cost of an event for their young people to have new experiences, or subsidise a visit for a school in an area of high deprivation to come to our museum and learn about the history of policing?
“Come along to our police museum on Steelhouse Lane from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday January 30 to have a look around, learn about what we do and why your company might like to be one of our supporters.
“You can also find out more about hiring our unique venue for events. Light refreshments will be provided.”
Free places at the event can be secured by visiting the website.
