Burton solicitor announced as newest Future Faces Ambassador
A Dispute Resolution & Litigation solicitor has been announced as the new Future Faces ambassador for Burton-upon-Trent.
Lakhvir Singh (pictured), a solicitor at Else Solicitors LLP, will take up the baton of ambassador for Burton, linking Burton young professionals with the Future Faces network and community.
Growing up, Lakhvir says he was always drawn to solving problems and tackling challenges head-on, often with an entrepreneurial mindset. He also enjoys navigating complex situations, which is why a career in law felt like the perfect fit.
A Nottingham Law School graduate, Lakhvir began at Else Solicitors LLP as a Commercial Property paralegal, progressing to trainee solicitor before becoming a Dispute Resolution & Litigation solicitor.
Lakhvir comments: “For me, the most rewarding aspect of my role is helping clients achieve positive outcomes while maintaining amicable relationships. Knowing that I’ve contributed to resolving disputes in a way that minimises stress and promotes understanding is incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, engaging with like-minded, young professionals as part of initiatives like Future Faces is a privilege, as I know how much a supportive network can help shape one’s career.”
Speaking about his appointment as ambassador, Lakhvir said: “I’m honoured to be named the Future Faces Ambassador for Burton and excited to contribute to this fantastic initiative. Future Faces provides a vital platform for young professionals to connect, grow, and develop the skills and relationships that will shape their careers. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for collaboration and look forward to helping Burton’s professional community thrive.”
Sophie Poduval-Morrell, manager of Future Faces, said: “It’s so important to have a champion for our regional divisions throughout the Chamber. We want our Future Faces members from all regions to feel included and part of the network, we are so excited that Lakhvir will be the Future Faces Ambassador for Burton. We know Lakhvir is super passionate about Future Faces and waving the flag for young professionals in the Burton area.”
Richard Brooks, head of Burton District and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce, said: "With the support of East Staffordshire Borough Council and careful planning, we were very pleased to introduce a new group of Future Faces at Burton & District Chamber of Commerce. I’m delighted to announce that Lakhvir has been appointed as our new Future Faces Ambassador for the region. His hard work and dedication in bringing this group together in the first few months has been commendable. We are also excited to welcome him to our divisional council. Fantastic news, and I look forward to working with him!"
