Brewers players receive international call-ups
Burton Albion Football Club players Max Crocombe (pictured), Terence Vancooten, Alejandro Bran and Tomas Kalinauskas have all been selected to represent their respected nations in this month’s international break.
Max Crocombe will be travelling away with the All Whites as they begin their World Cup qualifying campaign in Group B of the Oceania region, facing off against Tahiti on Friday 11 October (3am kick-off).
New Zealand’s second fixture of the international break is a friendly match against Malaysia on Monday 14 October, 7am kick-off.
Terence Vancooten’s Guyana continue their CONCACAF Nations League A Group 1 campaign with fixtures against Guatemala (Saturday 12 October, 2am kick-off) and Suriname (Wednesday 16 October, 1am kick-off).
The Golden Jaguars currently have one point from their first two group games, with the group also featuring Alejandro Bran’s Costa Rica.
Costa Rica also feature in A Group 1 of the CONCACAF Nations League, with Alejandro Bran travelling with Los Ticos for their next two group fixtures. Costa Rica face Suriname on Friday 11 October, 11pm kick-off, before a top of the group clash against Guatemala on Wednesday 16 October, 1am kick-off.
Tomas Kalinauskas’ Lithuania continue their UEFA Nations League C Group 2 campaign with two home fixtures against Kosova and Romania. Lithuania face Kosovo on Saturday 12 October, 2pm kick-off, before looking for revenge against Romania on Tuesday 15 October, 7:45pm kick-off, after suffering a 3-1 defeat to ‘Tricolorii’ in last month’s round of fixtures.
