Brewers extend long-standing partnership with kit manufacturer
Burton Albion has announced that TAG Sportswear will continue as kit manufacturers for the next two seasons.
TAG first supplied the Burton Albion Men’s First Team kit during the 1994-95 season and are set to enter their 30th year of providing teamwear for the Brewers.
Their logo will once again feature on all men’s and women’s first team kits, training wear, staff kit and travel wear, as well as all Academy and Community Trust teamwear.
Kevin C Skabo, commercial director, said: “I understand the long-term relationship between TAG Sportswear and the club, and it’s really important that we keep strong relationships like this with local businesses.
“TAG have shown great loyalty to the Brewers for a long time and we are glad that we can do the same. It’s part of building a stronger community and that is more important than everything.”
Tony Footit, owner of TAG Sportswear, said: “We’re really looking forward to working with the new owners and seeing what we can contribute, to what is effectively the new Burton Albion and we’re delighted to be a part of that process.
“We’ve spoken in detail about the quality and improvements that they want to see across Burton Albion Football Club and the kit is just one part of that evolving process.
“We know we can 100 per cent produce what the club want and we are going to form some sub committees with the decision makers to make some decisions immediately on the kit for the 2025/26 season.”
