Bears Women have agreed the country’s first dedicated women’s cricket sponsorship for the new-look 2025 season after agreeing a partnership with internet provider brsk.

brsk – a high speed, full fibre broadband network provider – will be a shirt sleeve sponsor for Bears Women’s Vitality Blast and Metro Bank One Day Cup campaigns.

The one-year deal is the first dedicated women’s cricket sponsorship among the eight Tier 1 teams who will compete in a new national structure from next season.

Warwickshire head of partnerships Ben Seifas said: “I’m delighted to welcome brsk to the Bears Women and Edgbaston family. It’s a really significant moment for us and for the wider women’s game.

“It’s the first women-only commercial partnership as we step into a new era for women’s cricket in this country.

“It’s an opportunity to champion the growth of women’s cricket while making an impact through brsk’s affiliate programme.”

The affiliate scheme will see brsk provide every Bears fan who signs up to their service with a £100 grant towards a women’s and girls’ community project of their choice.

And the partnership also affords brsk a prominent role at a Bears Women match at Edgbaston next season, including fan engagement and giveaways.

Laura Richardson, regional head for the Midlands at brsk, which has a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot from almost 12,000 reviews, said: “We're proud to be bringing better connectivity to Birmingham and the Black Country, providing residents and business with the reliability, affordability and speeds they deserve via our brand new network.

“As part of our mission to provide game-changing broadband, it’s important to us that we support local communities and initiatives across the West Midlands.

“Partnering with Bears Women and Warwickshire, with their wide supporter base across the region, makes perfect sense for us.

“It’s an exciting time for women’s cricket in the country and we’re proud to be a forerunner on that journey. We’ll be proudly backing Bears Women in 2025 and hope to share success with them in their first season.”

Bears Women are one of eight Tier 1 sides that will play in a revamped national structure from 2025 as part of the England & Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) multi-million pound plan to expand women’s cricket.
