Awards night raises funds for children's sports charity

Future Faces have announced that the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards 2024 has raised a grand total of £4,970k for the divisions chosen charity, Birmingham Youth Sports Academy (BYSA).

BYSA Foundation was established in 2002 as a voluntary organisation and has received funding from a number of organisations in order to offer football coaching to young people aged 6-18 at Small Heath Leisure Centre – every Saturday morning – from 10:30am-12:30pm.

The awards night raised the funds for the charity through a raffle of prizes donated by a wide range of businesses and companies.

BYSA spoke about how the money raised will hugely benefit the children in their care, from giving them the ability to buy bus passes for children who aren’t able to travel to the charity base, to funding coaching sessions and much more.
