Sport Birmingham, marking its 10th anniversary as an Active Partnership, will host the Birmingham Community Celebration Awards, recognising outstanding contributions to community sport and physical activity throughout the city.

The event, happening at the Edgbaston Stadium on 21 November, will reflect on the past decade of achievements and set the stage for future ambitions.

Approximately 300 guests, including partners, shortlisted nominees, and their guests, will come together to honour individuals and organisations that have excelled in promoting sport and physical activity across Birmingham.

The evening will feature a thoughtfully designed programme, starting with a welcome drinks reception and performances, followed by a two-part awards ceremony with a hot buffet interval.

A total of ten awards will be presented, covering five individual and five organisational categories.

These awards, judged by two panels, will celebrate excellence in areas such as community impact, innovation, leadership, and inclusion.

Senior partnerships manager for community Hayley James (pictured) said: "This event is not just about recognising achievements in sport; it's about celebrating the heart of Birmingham—our diverse, dynamic, and dedicated community.

“We believe in the power of sport to bring people together, inspire change, and create lasting impact. This celebration is a testament to the incredible work happening across our city every day."

The Birmingham Community Celebration Awards presents a fantastic opportunity for businesses and organisations to support the local community and gain visibility through sponsorship.

With packages starting at £1,000, sponsors can play a vital role in making this event a success and demonstrating their commitment to community sport and physical activity.
