Afternoon tea turns pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The Belfry Hotel & Resort’s traditional afternoon tea has turned pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, with proceeds being donated to charity.
The afternoon tea is served in The Belfry’s Brabazon Bar, which has recently undergone a refurbishment featuring a vibrant décor and new soft furnishings crafted by a local upholsterer.
The menu features a selection of finger sandwiches served with beetroot and chive savoury scones as well as warm fruit and plain scones, served with strawberry jam and clotted cream.
The pink themed spread includes sweet treats such as pink lemonade shortbread, raspberry Battenberg, rose delight macaroon, pink velvet Opera cake, ruby tiffin, and a white chocolate and pomegranate tart.
Diners will be looked after by a trained tea sommelier and there are dozens of hand-picked tea blends that pair perfectly with sweet and savoury treats.
The Belfry’s Pink Afternoon Tea is available now until 31 October priced at £35 per person.
