Hot on the trail of eight acquisitions in 16 months, accountancy firm Cooper Parry (CP) has announced the arrival of Nick Campbell Lambert (pictured) as audit partner in London.

Nick will be working closely with mid-market, PE-backed and AIM-listed businesses, building CP’s audit team and driving the firm’s continued growth in London and regionally.

Nick brings with him almost 30 years of experience as an auditor in the Big 4, including 24 years at PwC in London and two years at Deloitte in Sydney.

He also has significant experience in corporate CFO roles, supporting a number of multi-sector, PE-backed businesses across the UK.

It’s this rich variety of expertise that he’ll be applying in a new, mid-market, CP context, across London.

Nick said: “After a few years away from the UK audit profession, I’m looking forward to combining my extensive experience of large corporate audits and working with growing, PE-backed businesses, with the fast-moving, close-knit relationships that the mid-market needs from their advisers.

“Getting to know CP over the last 6 months has been incredibly powerful, personally and professionally. The external positioning of the brand and culture aligns with everything I’ve seen and everyone I’ve met so far, and the appetite for growth is huge.

“Right now, the mid-market in London feels ripe for disruption, and I’m excited to grow CP’s audit practice here, work with forward-thinking businesses, and mirror the huge success CP has already had in the Midlands.”

Ade Cheatham, CEO at Cooper Parry, added: “Culturally, technically, strategically, Nick is a fantastic addition to our team and I know he’ll have a big impact on CP’s continued growth in the South.

“Our journey to build the next-gen professional services firm has gathered a lot of pace recently, and with more big announcements in the pipeline, it’s exciting to keep offering more and more field-leading expertise to clients.”
