A roundtable for local accountancy firms which will delve into the implications of the budget is being hosted by Chamber member Cloud Accounting Support Services (CASS)

Taking place at Chasetown Football Club on 26 February, the event will delve into the latest budget and its implications, not only for the accounting profession but for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across all sectors.

The insights from this discussion will shape a practical and accessible whitepaper, designed to provide SMEs with actionable strategies and advice for navigating financial challenges in the current economic climate.

Launching in the first half of 2025, the whitepaper will be a vital resource for businesses looking to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.

John Moore, director of Fruition Accountancy and Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber committee member, said: “‘I’m really excited to be involved in CASS’s initiative to host a round table event that looks at the impact of the budget and subsequent announcements on owner managed businesses.

“To develop a white paper off the back of this that can be a practical resource used by small businesses, is something that could be of great benefit as they navigate the changes and challenges ahead.”
