Accountancy firm strengthens corporate finance team with new appointment

PKF has bolstered its award-winning corporate finance team in the Midlands.

Joe Anderson (pictured) has 10 years’ experience in working at a top-ten accountancy firm and supporting owner-managed businesses.

He has helped business owners in a range of industries, developing strong experience in the financial services and healthcare industries.

In his new role at PKF Smith Cooper, Joe will work closely with clients to understand their M&A needs and formulate plans to execute successful transactions.

PKF Smith Cooper has been pushing forward with team expansion plans throughout 2024, with Joe being the fifth new addition to the corporate finance division this year.

In April, the firm welcomed a new corporate finance partner, Claire Spencer, to lead the East Midlands team and support head of corporate finance Darren Hodson in continuing to build PKF’s presence in the Midlands.

The team is still recruiting, with a corporate finance manager position at the firm’s new Birmingham office currently open for applications.
