Accountancy firm promotes two new partners

Carolyn Pears and Salvatore Mingoia has joined Cooper Parry's partner line-up as the company's steep growth trajectory continues.

Since Cooper Parry (CP) partnered with Waterland Private Equity in July 2022, the accountants and business advisers have made significant strides towards its target of five-fold growth over the next five years.

The company has completed three acquisitions since February 2023, with London firms ihorizon and Acclivity joining CP's Tech & High Growth team, and Future Perfect joining Cooper Parry Wealth.

This year, more than 210 people will be joining the firm and 78 others have enjoyed promotions to offer continued career development and recognition. These include 13 promotions to a newly created Associate Partner role in April 2023.

This week, CP announced two of those associate partners were being promoted to partner.

Carolyn Pears, finance, joined CP from Benoy as finance director back in September 2018.

While leading a large part of the finance team, Carolyn has been instrumental in supporting CP's strategic and growth ambitions, with crucial financial guidance and control.

Salvatore Mingoia, origination, joined CP from Grant Thornton as head of new business development in July 2021. In that time, he's been a key figure in CP's impressive organic growth, going out to the market and winning new and strategically important business.
