Accountancy and business advisory firm Cooper Parry (CP) recently welcomed over 100 new trainees to the firm across its Audit, Tax, Business Services & Outsourcing, Corporate Finance, Finance and Operations teams.

The group, made up of graduates, school leavers and placement students, spent two days together at CP’s Launchpad event to meet each other and familiarise themselves with life at CP.

The workshops introduced the cohort to CP’s values, strengths-based ways of working, sustainability journey, in-house D&I team and more.

The new starters also had the chance to pose questions to CP’s Leadership team in a Q&A, find out more about their professional qualification route, and hear from other trainees.

Since partnering with Waterland Private Equity, CP has completed eight acquisitions in 16 months and maintained its position as the number one accountancy firm to work for in the UK based on employee feedback in the Best Companies survey.

Adding to this success, CP recently secured a top 50 spot in the prestigious Top 100 Global Inspiring Workplaces List for 2024, cementing their reputation as a leader in creating exceptional workplace experiences.

Now, with more than 100 fresh, ambitious faces across CP’s UK hubs, the firm’s growth journey is showing no signs of slowing down.

Ade Cheatham, CEO at Cooper Parry, said: “I love days like this. These talented people are our future, and with so many applications this year, the standard is higher than ever.

“We’ve made no secret of our growth plans for 2025 and beyond, and it’s exciting to see so many young people resonate with our values and vision.”

Applications to join CP’s 2025 intake opened on 2 September 2024.
