ABCC director takes part in graduation ceremony
Anjum Khan, the director of Asian Business Chamber of Commerce presented certificates at a graduation ceremony in Birmingham.
She represented the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) at the Scholar School System graduation ceremony for its Leeds Trinity university provision of Business Management and Health & Social Care Class of November 2024.
The event, held in their Birmingham campus, brought together a distinguished array of community leaders to honour student achievements.
Guests included Birmingham's Lord Mayor Councillor Ken Wood, Councillor Maryam Khan, Councillor Waseem Zafar, Councillor Yvonne Mosquito, and GBCC president Dr. Nasir Awan MBE DL.
Speaking about the awards, Anjum Khan said: “Celebrating the hard work and dedication of these graduates is truly inspiring.
“Their achievements reflect the strength and ambition within our community.
“I am proud to represent GBCC at such a momentous occasion and to support the next generation of professionals as they embark on their careers.”
Zahid Bhatti, CEO of Scholars School System said: “Today's ceremony was a wonderful celebration of our graduates' hard work and achievements.
“We're incredibly proud of our students who have demonstrated resilience, creativity, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their lives and communities.”
A graduate student who won the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award, reflected on her journey, saying: “Scholars has definitely been a place of growth, inspiration, and countless opportunities for me.
“The education and support I have received here have profoundly shaped both my personal and professional journey.”
The event highlighted education's transformative power, with speakers emphasising its critical role in personal and societal advancement.
The afternoon culminated in a jubilant photography session, capturing the graduates' milestone moment of triumph.
