Winter light trail returns to Arboretum
Tickets are now on sale for Illuminated Arboretum, the annual winter light trail at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
Visitors can once again kick off their festive season with the light experience along a mile-long route through the woodlands, gardens and memorials of the nation 's year-round place to remember.
Illuminated Arboretum will take place every evening from Thursday 1 December to Saturday 17 December.
A limited number of spaces are available for Relaxed Sessions, designed for visitors who may have additional needs and will feature less prominent light and sound features on 7 and 14 December
Tickets cost £19 for adults and £9 for children (under 5s and carers are able to enter the experience for free) if booked before 30 September and must be purchased on the Arboretum website in advance.
“Our visitors are returning to the Arboretum year after year for this unique after-hours experience, ” explains Mark Ellis, National Memorial Arboretum lead.
“Seeing a selection of memorials bathed in light, following a glowing trail through our grounds and discovering the immersive multi-sensory installations is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit.
“However, Illuminated Arboretum sells out every year so anyone wanting to enjoy the experience will have to be quick to avoid disappointment! ”
