Growing the entrepreneuriaI landscape in Greater Birmingham

The Quarterly Business Report (QBR) offers an up-to-date snapshot of the performance of the Greater Birmingham business community. Our flagship economic publication is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city-region. Underpinning the report is data gathered from quarterly surveys completed by businesses from across the Greater Birmingham area. This event will launch our QBR Report for Q4 2023.

At the Chamber, we help to connect, support and grow local businesses in Greater Birmingham; the intelligence gained from the QBR surveys is invaluable to helping us meet this aim.

This event will:

  • Explore the opportunities available for entrepreneurs in the region
  • Discuss how stakeholders across the region can support budding entrepreneurs
  • Highlight a relevant case study from a local business on how they have navigated through the local business landscape in order to grow their business

The event will also include a review of the latest GBCC Quarterly Business Report results, the data from which is shared with the West Midlands Combined Authority, HM Treasury and the Bank of England, and it also plays a vital role in shaping regional and national economic policy.

After a review of the latest GBCC Quarterly Business Report results, this event will explore how Greater Birmingham has grown the entrepreneurial landscape.

Sponsored by Birmingham City University, the Quarterly Business Report is now a well-established feature in the local business calendar, these high-quality events attract a senior level audience of c.60 for networking, discussion and intelligence sharing.
