Training course - is this course suitable for you?

Is it for me?

This Course will suit experienced staff as a refresher/reminder as well as less experienced staff as an education/ to improve their understanding of the International Trade world.

The Course would also be useful for business decision makers who are perhaps looking into exporting or new to it but also businesses who already regularly export but might welcome handy tips on when trading in International markets. Team members in finance and sales would also find this course useful.

This bespoke half day course is to help businesses and their staff understand the different areas of risks of International Trade and therefore be in a position to make informed decisions as to the risk it is prepared to take with different aspects of exporting and/or importing and where possible reduce/mitigate them.

Course content

This Course explores a number of the key Risks for businesses operating in International Trade; what they are and how they might be mitigated. Topics are:

  • Country and Political Risk
  • Commercial Risk
  • Payment Risk

The course will also cover how important it is for a business to understand and use the agreed Incoterm and its implications for the exporter/importer if not used correctly.
