We will be using the unique FindaBiz Networking Speed Formula where we sit at round tables. Everyone has one minute to introduce themselves to the table and then after exchanging cards or digital contact details you move to the next table where you meet completely different people.

This is the perfect opportunity if you are looking to make connections and find opportunities for your business. We invite both delegates and exhibitors to attend.

Please note, speed networking is fully booked.

Seminar programme – Winning business

As an SME, do you know how to promote your own business? Join our seminar programme and gain access to, and insight on, how you can win business with major contractors.

The seminars at this GBCC expo will be connected by a theme of “winning business” – building awareness of local supplier opportunities and how businesses can best access them.

Seminar 1 - Pitch to win: SMEs & local procurement

This session is intended as a practical introduction to local procurement and supply chain opportunities. We want attendees to take away learnings or “top tips” that will add value in their organisation.

Delegates leave with:

  • Increased understanding of public procurement/local procurement
  • Increased understanding of/confidence in how SMEs can access opportunities
  • Practical steps that you can take to get started/continue on this journey

Speaker

Soffia Marlin, Operations Director, EiB Group

Seminar 2 - Meet the buyer

The aim of this session is to increase local businesses awareness of, and confidence in accessing, opportunities across a range of different sectors. This session will see a panel of 4 organisations who will each share their approaches to working with local SME businesses as suppliers and in their supply chains.
