Following a stint as Chief Executive Officer for Netwerc Birmingham, which involved managing the region’s largest network of voluntary sector organisations, Ash joined Birmingham City Council in 2007.  His current role focuses on programme and contract management and he is committed to improving the region’s economic prosperity by stimulating business and enterprise activity through the grant support programmes available at Birmingham City Council.  With a track record in supporting businesses, he is a highly regarded professional, who is passionate about promoting inclusive growth, addressing inequalities across communities and socio-economic exclusion issues through the successful management of programmes and organisations.
