Take a step back in time with BCHC Charity as you visit one of the oldest hospital sites in Birmingham. Still a functioning hospital you will be shown how the hall used to look and hear how it was used as well as see how it is used today including visiting the Dovecote and kitchen garden.
You will hear how the charity have supported the Trust to enhance patient experience on site including the garden of reflection and green gym and how you can get involved with upcoming projects to ensure patients, their families and the staff who support them continue to have the best experience.
About Moseley Hall Hospital
Moseley Hall is a community hospital offering general medical and sub-acute care and specialist stroke and brain injury rehabilitation services for inpatients and outpatients.
The site is also home to the Juniper Centre, which is managed by Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust.
Moseley Hall Hospital now owned and used by the Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust built c1795 as a house after an earlier hall had been destroyed by rioters in 1791. It was the house of Richard Cadbury who in 1890 gave it to the city as a children's home. It is now one of the largest community hospital sites and provides a home.
