College announced as headline sponsor for Asian Business Chamber awards
A new headline sponsor has been announced for the upcoming Asian Business Chamber of Commerce awards night.
Reputed education provider South and City College Birmingham (SCCB) is the latest headline sponsor of the event, joining Doug Wright (T/A MacDonalds).
Over 300 guests will be heading to the ICC tomorrow evening for the awards night. It is followed by an afterparty at the Malmaison.
SCCB provides high quality education, technical and vocational training to young people, adults and employers looking to develop their workforce.
Their mission is to provide outstanding education and training that is primarily vocational, in response to the needs of learners, employers and other key stakeholders.
SCCB is also sponsoring the awards for Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Diversity & Inclusion.
SCCB principal Mike Hopkins MBE said: “South & City College Birmingham has supported and sponsored the ABCC, and before it, the IAB for well over 25 years.
“In that time, we have seen it grow in status and influence, and it is now a key part of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.
“Our sponsorship reflects our ongoing commitment and support both to the ABCC and to the Asian Businesses and Asian business men and women in our region.”
Meanwhile, SME advisory firm Oxford Innovation Circle will sponsor the Outstanding Small Business of the Year award and Scholars School System is sponsoring the Outstanding Male Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Oxford Innovation Circle is the leading provider of business support programmes across the country.
They have supported over 33,386 SME businesses, creating 29,237 new jobs and generating £1.3 billion in GVA.
The firm has also supported the development of 2,282 new products, raised £223,564,898 in private investment and distributed £20,834,828 in grant funding to SMEs.
